What do we offer to make your dog's tail wag?

  • Our facility is surrounded by a 500 acre farm, located away from main roads, offering plenty of wildlife watching (deer, birds, and cows are some favorites).
  • Each dog (or family) is assigned one of our nine private 11x11 suites. Each suite has a large window, ceiling fan, and a people-size twin bed. Not only does this offer a very comfortable space for your dog; it also allows for space from other dogs when quiet time is preferred, reducing anxiety caused by close quarters and noisy, cramped boarding.
  • Dogs participate in hours of scheduled playtime (with friends or on their own, depending on their preferences and your instructions) in our large, fenced play yard. This is not a quick potty break or leash walk. We run, chase, fetch, roll in grass, and lounge in the shade. Four hours in the morning and four hours in the evening are dedicated to this kind of enrichment and exercise. Each of those blocks of time is split among assigned playgroups, but with only nine rooms, everyone gets plenty of fresh air and exercise throughout the day.
  • Our 8' pool has been transformed into a sprinkling water feature, allowing all dogs access to fresh, flowing spring water (seasonally) in the play yard. Traditional water dishes are also always available for those who prefer it.
  • Our indoor lounge allows playtime/ socialization to continue, even in bad weather. Dogs have options there as well - to lounge on furniture or play indoors - they get pretty excited about the playroom.
  • As a small, boutique kennel, dogs never suffer from assembly-line care. We are able to get to know our clients and give them the special attention they deserve. We also have a small staff (only 3 of us), so your dogs will be greeted by familiar faces each time they visit. Not only do they get to know us, they also get to know each other, and will often see some familiar doggy buddies when they return.
